How to measure pulse time and duty?

Im using PCIe-6320 DAQ in my application.How do i measure the frequency using the hardware.

1.By counting the rising edges using counter port i could determine the frequency which is not prefered.

so i thought to measure the pulse duration of a single pulse and find the frequency accurately? i dont get an idea on how to measure the pulse duration,kindly suggest me few ideas or refer me any example vi.
